Location is fantastic, with easy access to parks and restaurants. The happy hour specials are a nice touch. Unfortunately, our room was not very clean, and we found dirty laundry from previous guests. Check-in was smooth, but the elevators were slow and crowded during peak times.

The location is perfect for exploring downtown, and the river views from the room are stunning. The parking situation was frustrating and expensive, adding stress to our arrival. Check out the homemade pastries at the café—they're fantastic.

Staying here was a fantastic choice for my weekend strolls in Pittsburgh, as it's just a short walk to some amazing attractions like Point State Park and the Fort Pitt Museum, both less than 500 meters away, while also being conveniently close to downtown, Heinz Field, and PNC Park, making it great for catching a game or enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the city; the hotel itself offers clean rooms and friendly staff, although it could benefit from some upgrades like better plumbing and mattress quality.

The bed was very comfortable, and the temperature control worked well. Our room on the 16th floor offered a great view of the river. Noise from the nearby elevator was noticeable at night. Though the cleaning staff was attentive, our room had cleanliness issues. We were impressed by the friendly service from Janet, our waitress. we faced challenges like lack of sheets for the couch and insufficient towels. The room's layout, with glass bathroom doors and missing fridge, could use improvement. Despite these hiccups, the space felt spacious, and the location was ideal for exploring.

Great location near bars and restaurants. Friendly staff even at odd hours.

It wasn’t cheap, but the experience was still worth it.

The Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh offers a fantastic downtown location, perfect for exploring nearby attractions. my room was lacking cleanliness, featuring dusty corners and an unkempt bathroom. While the friendly staff made check-in easy, the overall condition of the hotel felt outdated and in need of significant maintenance.

The air conditioning broke in the middle of the night, and the room smelled funky. Plus, the furniture looked old and worn, making it feel more like a budget motel than a nice hotel.

Had a lovely romantic escape with a dreamy river view room and a cozy comfy bed. The location was spot-on, walking distance to everything we needed and convenient parking options nearby.

The bar/lounge opening at 4 was a bit late, the restaurant being closed was a bummer, and no maid service was a letdown. Plus, the musty room smell and lack of cleanliness in the bathroom were major disappointments.

Really loved the location, super close to everything, especially for the Pirates game! The staff were nice and helped me stay longer for the afternoon game, which was awesome. The building looks nice too! Just wish the furniture was a bit more updated and my room was really hot—had to get the AC fixed at midnight.

An inspired escape in the hub of activities. Scenic views, comfy beds, and friendly staff. A sophisticated city break right downtown!

I loved waiting for elevators more than actually using them.

Location is unbeatable. Nestled next to a charming park, it's close to major attractions like Acrisure Stadium and the Strip District. The room was comfortable, but the promised river view? Non-existent. Staff claimed that a park view sufficed. A $25 voucher was offered, yet breakfast hours didn’t align with our schedule. The icing on the cake was a double charge of $473, requiring intervention from my bank. There were notable positives: comfy beds and friendly staff, but disappointing maintenance. Only three elevators functioning and insufficient cleaning were frustrating. Amenities missed the mark and noise levels from celebrating guests were disruptive. Highlight? The promise of a river view that ultimately fell flat. A mixed bag of experiences.

Clean room, clean staff with helpful assistance in getting us into our room before check-in and a comfy king bed that made for a restful night's sleep.

Nothing, no complaints at all.

The view from my room was fantastic, truly a sight to behold. The location makes it super easy to walk to concerts, and the valet staff were friendly and efficient.

The parking rules could really use a rework.

The valet service was impressively quick, and check-in was smooth, but crucial info about the pool access was missing. The pool area had a nice vibe, and the hotel’s location offered stunning views of the rivers and stadiums, plus great walkability to nearby attractions. Rooms were clean, but mine felt cramped, with a clogged sink that took days to fix. Unfortunately, housekeeping was overlooked due to staffing issues, leading to inconveniences like running out of toilet paper. Despite some drawbacks, the lobby’s charm and friendly staff made the experience memorable. I’d consider returning, but with some reservations.

The grand ballroom at the hotel was perfect for special events, with over 60,000 square feet of space, making it an ideal venue for celebrations.

My wife says that families with children would benefit from having more interactive kids' activities available.

The location was outstanding, right across from Point State Park with fantastic views. The staff was super friendly and managed a busy holiday weekend smoothly. The views from our room on the 23rd floor were breathtaking, especially during the July 4th fireworks display.

Our room was a bit smaller than expected, and cleanliness could have been improved. The noisy neighbors kept us up all night, and the amenities in the room were lacking, with broken furniture and delays in receiving additional bedding.

My friends and I had a blast exploring Frick Park and playing a round of mini-golf at South Park Golf Course. The hotel's grand ballroom was lit for our epic party! With over 60,000 square feet of event space, we felt like VIPs throwing the best bash ever.

the location was perfect - within walking distance of point state park, the stadiums, and downtown. we enjoyed a nice dinner in the market district before heading to the steelers football game, which was just a short walk away. the staff were friendly and helped with quick check-in. our room was upgraded to a spacious junior suite with comfortable beds. overall, a beautiful hotel with convenient parking nearby.

N/a 😊

The location was pretty fantastic, right downtown with amazing views. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, which was a big plus. there were some things that really dragged down the experience. The room itself was not the cleanest - lots of dust, dirty handles, and even toothpaste still on the faucet and mirror. The drains in the sink and bath were clogged, making it tricky to shower without the tub filling up with water. And there was this constant alarm going off in the corridor at night, which was pretty annoying. On the amenities front, there were some shortcomings too. The room didn't have a fridge, which was a bit of a bummer. The gym equipment was dusty and didn't seem very well-maintained. And the pool area was a bit unkempt, with clumps of hair and tissue on the floor. while there were some good points about the Wyndham Grand, the cleanliness and maintenance issues really impacted my stay.

super clean rooms with a spectacular view of the river. close to gateway station and within walking distance to most destinations. valet parking was efficient - but be aware it's $35/day on top of room charges. the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable - especially the valet parking team.

100% Recommend.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore all that Pittsburgh has to offer. We especially loved how close it was to the baseball and football stadiums and the Dusquesne Incline. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our check-in fast and seamless. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. The hotel also provided free Wi-Fi in public areas, which was a nice bonus. it was a convenient and enjoyable stay.

The lack of included breakfast. It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast option, especially considering the rate and location of the hotel.

I was eager to visit The Andy Warhol Museum, and Wyndham's central location perfectly suited my plans. The customer service agents here went above and beyond to assist me, and the thoughtful in-room touches like free WiFi and the inviting WynRest® Bedding collection made my stay even more enjoyable.

Overpriced and outdated parking.
